FAQ

We have answers.

Everything you want to know about our programs, prescriptions, billing, and what to expect.

Getting Started
Select Men's or Women's intake from the navigation above. The intake covers peptides, hormone replacement, and GLP-1 weight loss in a single form — you don't need to decide in advance which treatments you want. Your physician will review your goals and health history and build an appropriate protocol.
No. Hotspan operates entirely outside of insurance. All pricing is transparent and charged directly. HSA and FSA cards are accepted for eligible treatments. There is no charge if your physician determines treatment is not appropriate for you.
All 50 states. Our telehealth infrastructure connects you with US-licensed physicians in your state. All consultations are conducted via secure, HIPAA-compliant telemedicine.
Physician review typically happens within hours of completing your intake. You will receive a notification when your physician has reviewed your case. If additional information is needed, your physician may contact you directly.
Peptides & Hormones
Our physicians prescribe from a broad catalog of compounded peptides including Sermorelin, Ipamorelin, BPC-157, TB-500, NAD+, Epithalon, GHK-Cu, PT-141, Selank, Semax, Tesamorelin, MOTS-c, and more. The specific protocol depends on your physician's assessment of your goals and health history.
Patient-Ready peptides are liquid-compounded, physician-prescribed, and ready to use — the highest tier of clinical oversight and convenience. Professional Use peptides are lyophilized powder requiring reconstitution, available with practitioner authorization, and priced between our Research Use Only (Hotspan Labs) and compounded Rx tiers. Both start with the same active molecules.
Yes. TRT for men and bioidentical hormone replacement for women (estrogen, progesterone, testosterone) are included within our intake and physician assessment process. Hormone replacement is covered in the same intake as peptides — you don't need a separate consultation.
Compounded medications are not FDA-approved as finished drug products. They are produced in FDA-registered compounding pharmacies by licensed pharmacists under physician prescription. Compounding is a legal and common practice used when commercially manufactured medications don't meet a patient's specific needs.
GLP-1 Weight Loss
Yes. Compounded semaglutide (GLP-1) and tirzepatide (GLP-1/GIP dual agonist) are available where clinically appropriate. GLP-1 therapy is assessed as part of the standard intake — you can request it or let your physician determine whether it fits your protocol.
Compounded semaglutide starts at $179/month. Compounded tirzepatide starts at $249/month. Pricing includes physician oversight and is adjusted based on dosing. There are no hidden fees or membership charges.
Shipping & Billing
All orders ship from our compounding pharmacy in discreet, unmarked packaging. Temperature-sensitive compounds ship with cold packs where required. Standard delivery is 3–5 business days after prescription processing. Free shipping on all orders.
You are not charged if your physician determines that treatment is not medically appropriate for you. The intake and physician review are free. You only pay when a prescription is issued and filled.
